Today was so FUN. I have three reasons why! :)
First, I was able to buy the things I really want to buy. New eyeglasses to beat the Haring Araw, plain shirt, English books for my sissy and an Acne Face Treatment!
Second, I was able to bond with my cousins again. It was my Tito and cousin’s bday. The whole fambam went to my Tita Beth’s mini farm at Mt Arayat. We had sumptuous lunch! All home cooked by my Titas who are also great cooks! Chatted, played, laughed and joked. PRICELESS. :)
Lastly, I was sooo lucky today that I won 800 pesos on our In-Between game! :D
I also wore that cute summer-y floral skirt I bought at Divi last Tuesday for just 75 pesos! Great deal! :)
I and my family went to Fontana to attend to my Mom’s office summer outing part 2. LOL. Their first one was at Batangas held three months ago. So yeah, we had lots of foods at the villa. Btw, the villa also has its own private pool at the back so we don’t need to walk to swim at the water park. But the water parks’ so nice that I still wanna go there but to no avail. I am still sooo happy though coz I was able to swim again and beat the summer heat, yey! :)
S&R FOODIES…
Yesterday, Mom and Dad fetched me at Marquee Mall Bus Terminal. I though we’re going home already but then we headed back to the expressway to get the rice sacks my mother ordered at San Fernando. The sun was so high and it was scorching hot. I was saying I want ice cream when I spotted the newly opened S&R. We got Mom’s new membership card and shopped for some snacks. We got a gallon and a pint of Fudge Twirl Ice Cream, Blueberry Muffins, Piknik Shoestring Potatoes and of course, Pizza! We got half pie of two different flavors, Combo and Shrimp chuva. LOL. It was quite a feast yesterday at home. Tummy’s so bloated. :D FOODIES I LOVE!!!
btw, pardon me for the raw photo. Quite tired today. teehee
MAY!
It’s finally MAY. Summer’s ending, rainy season’s finally coming. I haven’t really loved summer ever since, but I’m also not a fan of rainy seaon. It’s just that I’m happy it won’t be too hot again.
Anyway, I wanna tell you about how I welcomed May. It was a Labor Day and we had a day off from work! yay! Spent the whole day with Bessy shopping at Divi. Bought lots of ringsss and other accessories. We weren’t actually able to buy much clothes because ended up buying lots of accessories instead. haha! My greatest buy on that day was the guava pink blazer I bought just for 150! Picturing myself wearing it in Korea. Alright, daydreaming. But I really wish I can visit that country sooooon!
Anyway, back to the story. I was quite amazed on how the place changed after a year I visited it. There’s this newly built mall called Lucky Chinatown. The stores inside are sosyal that you will feel like you stepped in a Greenhills duplicate. LOL. But kidding aside, the place is so nice. I was also shocked when I saw Jay Park’s big banner inside telling that the mall will be part of his tour here in Manila!
We ended up going home by 6pm. It actually rained so hard and had hard time going home. The streets were kinda flooded which scared me a LOT. But good thing we were able to go home safely. The bad side is I wasn’t able to have dinner with college friends at Glorietta. I’ll just try to catch up some other time. IOverall, the day was fun. I was soo happy with the stuffs I bought! Hoping to go there anytime soon. :)
Watched TITANIC in 3D with my office friends 2 weeks ago. We catched the last full show on the first day of showing at Glorietta.
The movie is truly TIMELESS and CLASSIC. Cried thrice. First was when Cal and Jack were bading goodbye to Rose while she’ was currently onboarded on the life boat. TRUE LOVE. While I can say that Jack really loves Rose, I can also say that Cal has an impeccable love towards Rose. He’s even willing to give up the chance to live for Rose. :’( The second time was when a lot of people were running for their lives, the old couple stayed on their beds and faced death, the mom who kissed her children good night when the waters rose, Thomas standing on the first class room lamenting on his failure on building a strong ship, the musicians played for the passengers to calm down and lastly, Captain Smith locking himself iniside the controlling room. And the last part was when Jack died.
Though I have watched many times, I still can’t avoid crying over the movie.
Thanks Pam for the picture. :)
