Lights & Sounds at Ayala Triangle Gardens
It was my first time watching the sparkling and colorful lights yesterday. I was so delighted watching them moving attuned with the happy orchestra-like Christmas songs playing on the background. The scenes were like caught from a fairy tale-like dream. It was surreal. I always feel like a kid watching wonderful things like this. Hoping to watch this soon with my family. :)

It was FYE since Monday! The most dreadful of all the month ends. Good thing my team is keeping up a good job! All are so hardworking and are pretty much putting all their efforts. It is all our first time to experience this. One of our friends though was sick; hence, we cheered her up by sending her this photo of us. It was nice working knowing that these peiople are always there for you on your most stressful and happiest working days. :) Get well the soonest Missingkamas! :)
P.S. We even have time to go out and buy or coffees during our busiest times. :P That’s how we rock!
S&R FOODIES…
Yesterday, Mom and Dad fetched me at Marquee Mall Bus Terminal. I though we’re going home already but then we headed back to the expressway to get the rice sacks my mother ordered at San Fernando. The sun was so high and it was scorching hot. I was saying I want ice cream when I spotted the newly opened S&R. We got Mom’s new membership card and shopped for some snacks. We got a gallon and a pint of Fudge Twirl Ice Cream, Blueberry Muffins, Piknik Shoestring Potatoes and of course, Pizza! We got half pie of two different flavors, Combo and Shrimp chuva. LOL. It was quite a feast yesterday at home. Tummy’s so bloated. :D FOODIES I LOVE!!!

TEAMAKATS, that’s what we call ourselves. College friends working in Makati.
We decided to meet up and have dinner for some catching up though we just met a week ago. LOL. Dinner at Giligan’s, Glorietta 5. I was sooooo tired walking from Landmark to the resto. TIRED. Legs are still hurting from yesterday’s jog. Anyway, we planned a bday surprise for Anne and Chito. Good thing the reso is offering such a thing for bday celebrants! :) Hassle-free bday surprises for friends, yay! We asked one of the accomodating waiters to play 2NE1’s Fire and Glee’s Walking on Sunshine songs before playing the happy birthday song along with the bday cake. But we had a problem when Chits went out to answer his phone. Kuya Waiter has to play the song over and ove ragain like a pirated CD. hahahahahaha! And, alas! The bday song was played, bday cake appeared, staff were singing, and us singing too. They were both surprised though Chits had a hint earlier that night. Anne was super surprised she was almost in tears. We had a sumptuous dinner and even drank one bottle of alcohol each. The night was super F-U-N. :) Looking forward to coming to Giligan’s again. :)
02/05/2012 (Part 2)
I had lunch at home and went outside again to meet my Bessy and Ez. Ez is actually migrating to Virginia and she’ll be leaving on the 12th and so we decided to meet up with her after 4 years. I know, 4 years?! It was sooo nice to see a friend again after so many long years. We had lunch at Burger King. Oh wait, wait, you heard it right. I ate LUNCH AGAIN!!! LOL. Gluttony strikes. errr. Diet. >.< We spent 1.5-2hrs there catching up with each other. I even felt the people inside were already staring us because we were all so excited and giddy telling stories, hahaha! We were about to watch “My Cactus Heart” but too bad it isn’t being shown there. hmp.
Holga cameras we found while roaming the mall. I’m planning to buy one the soonest! Vintage-looking cameras are <3.
And so we just decided to hang out at Xtremely Xpresso. We stayed there for like 4 hours telling our never-ending stories. Ugh. It felt so nice catching up with these girls. Reminisceing our memories back in our high school days, catching up with the lives we had during and after college, and throwing jokes. It was sooo F-U-N. Really, though we only talked and talked and just talked. Oh, how I will miss Ez.
I, Ez and Tine at Xtremely Xpresso. The store’s Eskimocha is totally lurve. Cheaper than SB’s Frappes, but more delish. Seriously, they should have branches at the metro. Manila people will definitely love their drinks and treats.
We romed a little bit around the mall past 6 and they even joined me to buy Bob Ong’s newest book, Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin. I’M A BOB ONG FAN! His books are a must read. Definitely. His newest book’s cover looks so interesting. It has a PHR-like cover which I LOL-ed sooo much about, to add to its funny title! LMFAO-ing soo much.
It has a kinda scary book cover illustration though. LOL
Ez asked Tine to take a picture of her and a very funny sign we found at Fully Booked. LMFAO
It was kinda hard when we said goodbyes, but I’m sure we’ll still communicate and tell stories. :) FB, Twitter, Tumblr, Gmail, Ymail, etc. All thanks to the geniuses who invented and created these sites. We’re even planning we’ll go to Bora once she visits the Philippines. :P CAN’T WAIT!!! When I come back home I was sooo excited to open my Bessy’s bday gift to me. I was sooo shocked when he handed me a can, a closed and sealed can. I even need to open it with a can opener. Amazing, I know. She’s a UPD Food Tech student, and so she can preserve and can foods, and GIFTS! LOL.

The BFF is sooo sweet and creative. I love her to bits. :)) I am sooo glad I met up with two of my soul sisters today. A F-U-N Sunday indeed. My every weekend trips from Makati to Pampanga and vice-versa are so worthy with memories like these. :)
02/05/2012 (Part 1)
The day started out very nice. I woke up when Dad, Mom and Lola came home from their weekend morning walking/jogging routine. Mom cooked breakfast and we all ate together and started to prepare to go to the mass. It was a typical mass at SM Clark. I sooo love Father Mai’s homilies. They bring laughter and smiles on the mass-goers. After mass, we found this very HUUUUGE Teddy Bear on the Entertainment Plaza. It’s PINK!!! The hot air balloons tied on its left arm added on its cuteness. So the girly kiddo in me popped out. I took several pictures and even got Baby Viel (Baby Moky, to me) to sit on his own. We were all so nervous that he might fall. He’s sooo cuuute!!!

This 5-month old boy is really so cute and kind. I always ensure that I play with him every time I come home in Pampanga. *gigil* He also has a very nice hair. For just 5 months, he already grew his hair out which now flows on his nape. He can be a model for baby shampoo commercials. TeeHee. I also wore my new fave ring, Kimmy the Birdy! :) It’s soooo cute I wanna die. :P
